The most positive response to this issue involved reseating the cable after removing it(as shown in my video). It stopped occurring for a good while but started to intermittently happen again later on. It was the only way to correct the error once it became permanent, no matter how long or how many times I turned the bike on/off again. With regards to the part, yeh took quite the while to get it in stock. Then after getting it replaced by KTM, it unfortunately occurred as soon as I picked it up from the dealership. I showed the workshop guys before turning the bike off again. They took it back into the workshop and when I picked it up later that day, without doing anything further, they claimed it should be fine. It is intermittent and a real pain in the ass. I will continue to take photo's and videos of it when the problem occurs and then 6 months prior to my warranty expiring I will take it back in to get resolved. If after that point in time they claim I need to fix the issue at my own cost, I will then pursue the matter against them thru the legal system. Other than this the bike is great.

Mine was because of the the Hirschmann I750 semi active wire. It was not properly seated. ua-cam.com/video/-hk7KS3DOWk/v-deo.html. It occurred once or twice over the first few thousand Km's and then couldn't reset it by 6,000 KM's. I'd keep an eye on it and if it starts happening more often check this wire at the base of the spring. I've explained the issue to KTM and they have ordered the new part and will be replacing it.

Good find, unfortunately for many that doesn't appear to be the cause. But thanks for input. I guess its worth checking before using the vinyl method.

Yeh same thing with the DS, they never really resolved the wobble regardless of how many revisions were released. Keeps people with OCD's on their toes.

@@flapjackbeans Yeh maybe but I live in Australia and getting anything here in a reasonable amount of time is impossible. I'd rather shell out and ride in peace. KTM have done a reasonably poor job of making parts available for this bike. And I think these Radguard guards look stellar, their build quality is top notch. You get what you pay for, well not always but I can vouch for Radguard on these. They are rock solid. KTM's are plastic. I only ever want to visit this problem once, it's solved with these and I can rest in peace knowing they'll go the distance. On price, KTM wanted 160 for the plastic R model ones for my bike. These on the other hand are sturdy, have a center guard as well and they won't break when hit by rocks/rubble. So for an extra hundred AUD I think anyone considering KTM's who can afford these would be mad to go with plastic. There just my thoughts. I have no affiliation with the manufacturer what so ever. I'm just happy that an Aussie made product of this caliber exists, especially when there is nothing else on the market available to me right now.

They told me to do stuff like "make sure your switch is updated" "make sure the joycons are fully charged" "dont have your switch near an aquarium" Clearly just a copy and paste, its like theyre making it into some sort of joke, ill copy and paste the full thing

Back then there was an issue with the join cons briefly losing connectivity (joycon drift) as well as a problem with distance from the console. It appears from your reply they’ve confused your issue with this, which is apparently still plaguing them... “ A new class action lawsuit has been filed against Nintendo of America regarding the Switch's Joy-Con drift. Wow, interesting that after so long this is still an issue for people and new switch units. Having said that the DS 3DS wobble was never fixed by Nintendo either... thanks Gab for the feedback.

For the price tho they are still pretty awesome. We generally just pair one one of our freedconns to the phone and the person without goes without music otherwise they can listen to the radio instead.

SkadollaX Will the tape leave any mildew or mess up the switch

If you use adhesive on the rear of the device it can definitely cause issues and leave marks. Many who purchased adhesive skins at launch discovered this the hard way. No problems here, just do as I do in the video.
